Alex and Andrew Steele are the sons of Jason and Margaret Steele, Alex the elder by a short interval. They were children resident in Coriopolis at the time of the bombing crisis of 2118, and are recorded chiefly through their family’s account of the period immediately preceding it.

They appear in the documentary record of the crisis as ordinary residents rather than as participants, and are noted here for their relation to the principal figure rather than for any role of their own.
