Ian Fuller was a friend and regular flying companion of Jason Steele, and the father of Fiona. He was resident in Coriopolis at the time of the bombing crisis of 2118.

Fuller was an accomplished glider pilot, noted for working the edges of the circulation cells with unusual precision — exploring the currents to maximise altitude gain before committing to a transition, and reading the boundary by turbulence alone rather than by instrument.
